In order to keep our tenure alive we have a few basic operational costs. We are required to keep a general liability insurance policy in tact and have a bookkeeping system in place available for public reporting. The costs of these average $2000 per year and are covered by a combination of local fundraising efforts, membership sales, and support from BRVCA. Any money raised above and beyond these costs stays in a savings account ready for member input on how we will use the money for maintenance or new development. Your fundraising membership contributions go a long way to show public interest in the BRA and help us with grant applications for improvements and maintenance to the area.
